I have worked in insurance and reinsurance since 2009. After several years on the business side, including two years heading the PMO of a major IT transformation at a global industrial P&C carrier, I moved into data modelling and analytics in 2020. Since then I have owned end-to-end data products for lines-of-business and KPI reporting across several domains, including claims. Since 2025 I have been applying agentic AI to insurance work, starting with underwriting triage.

Positions
I work as a Senior Consultant Data and Analytics at a global primary insurance group since November 2025. Before that I held the position as Senior Manager Products & Underwriting at the same group and was the responsible manager for our Chinese and Polish subsidiaries.
- 04/2022 - 12/2024: Analytics Developer (stack: Python, R/Shiny, SQL, Power Query/BI)
- 05/2020 - 03/2022: Lean Portfolio Manager/Data Developer (Mainly Power Query/BI and SQL)
- 01/2018 - 05/2020: Head of PMO as part of a large IT-Transformation project with 300+ people in total and EUR 60m+ budget (one of the top worldwide operating industrial P&C carriers)
- 06/2012 - 12/2017: Project Manager Reinsurance (holding of one of the largest European insurance groups)
